These are exciting times for the Las Vegas Medical District. Plans for the UNLV School of Medicine’s permanent campus are moving forward, and together with additional projects in the pipeline, we anticipate the LVMD becoming a dynamic center for medical education, research and patient care that Southern Nevadans need and deserve. At UNLV, we are here to serve our community.
As the anchor hospital of the Las Vegas Medical District, UMC provides the highest level of care in the state, with the only Level I Trauma Center and only Designated Pediatric Trauma Center. By combining UMC’s acute care with neighboring specialties, Southern Nevadans now have a concentrated center for medical excellence.
