The Partnership to Improve Community Health (PICH) award of $2.6 million allows the agency to work with community partners to address tobacco use and exposure, poor nutrition, physical inactivity, and lack of access to chronic disease prevention opportunities in Clark County.
The School of Medicine has partnered on a five-year, $20.3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to lead a health research network of 13 universities across the Mountain West. The Clinical Translational Research Infrastructure Network will expand the capacity of institutions across seven states to put clinical research into practice to address regional health concerns.
